This season, we welcomed Isolatek International to our facility for hands-on applicator training on two of their newest products — and completed in-house certification on Henry’s Barritech VP and Barribond HP vapor and air barrier systems.

Isolatek International In-House Training
We recently hosted representatives from Isolatek at our shop for a comprehensive, in-person training session on two of their latest and most innovative products:
- Cafco Cellu-Shield 2: A thermal and acoustical insulation product designed for HVAC ductwork and mechanical systems, offering exceptional sound attenuation and thermal performance in commercial and industrial environments.
- Firesolve SB: A single-component, water-based intumescent coating that provides fire resistance for structural steel. Ideal for commercial construction projects requiring a high-performance, aesthetically clean passive fire protection solution.
Isolatek’s technical team came to our facility to ensure our applicators received proper instruction on surface preparation, application techniques, thickness requirements, quality control and inspection protocols for both products.
As a result of this training, Superior Industrial Insulation is now a certified, approved applicator of both Cafco Cellu-Shield 2 and Firesolve SB. This means our clients can specify these Isolatek products with full confidence that they will be installed in strict compliance with manufacturer requirements — protecting project warranties and ensuring code compliance.
In-House Training: Henry Barritech VP and Barribond HP
Our investment in technical expertise did not stop there. We also completed in-house training on Henry‘s Barritech VP and Barribond HP, the high-performance vapor barrier and air barrier membrane systems familiar to many in the industry for their distinctive blue appearance.
These products are used for critical building enclosure applications, particularly in industrial and commercial facilities where moisture control, air sealing and vapor management are essential to long-term building performance and energy efficiency.
