Firestop Training

Superior Industrial Insulation Company offers Firestop training that has been approved in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Oregon for 16 CEU Credits.

Designed for Firestop Inspectors, this competency course develops resident firestop experts who can inspect the completed work of others for compliance. Taught as a workshop, this two-day in-service training includes a day of classroom instruction, a half-day hands-on lab and an exam.

The class covers what to look for in firestop installations and includes a hands-on demonstration. Tuition covers attending both days of training.

Certificates are issued for those who pass, depending on the level, the certificates expire every two years or every year.
