Spray Foam

Maximum energy efficiency with professional spray foam insulation

Superior Industrial Insulation delivers expert spray foam insulation installation for residential and commercial properties.

Our advanced spray foam solutions provide superior air sealing, exceptional energy savings and long-lasting performance, helping property owners create a more comfortable, efficient and cost-effective building environment.

What is spray foam insulation?

Spray foam insulation is a high-performance insulation material that expands on contact to fill gaps, cracks and voids throughout your building envelope. Unlike traditional insulation materials, spray foam creates an airtight seal that prevents air leakage while delivering some of the highest R-values available in the insulation industry.

Open-cell vs. closed-cell spray foam

There are two main types of spray foam – open-cell and closed-cell.

Open-cell spray foam has an open, spongy cell structure that allows air and moisture to pass through the foam. It is often used in interior applications where sound dampening is important, like between interior walls or attics where moisture control isn’t critical.

Closed-cell spray foam has a closed, dense cell structure that doesn’t allow air or moisture to pass through. It is often used in exterior applications, basements, crawl spaces and areas where moisture control and maximum insulation value are priorities.

Key Benefits of Spray Foam Insulation

Superior air sealing

Our spray foam expands to fill every gap, crack and void, creating an airtight seal that prevents air leakage far better than fiberglass or cellulose insulation. This helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures year-round.

Exceptional R-value performance

Closed-Cell: ~R-6.5 per inch
Open-Cell: ~R-3.5 to R-4.0 per inch

Higher R-values mean better thermal resistance and superior energy efficiency for your property.

Significant energy savings

Reduce heating and cooling costs by 30 percent to 50 percent while helping your HVAC system run more efficiently and last longer. Spray foam insulation pays for itself through lower utility bills.

Moisture protection

Closed-cell spray foam resists water absorption, reducing the risk of mold and rot while adding structural integrity to walls and roofs. It acts as both an insulation and a vapor barrier in one application.

Sound dampening

Open-cell spray foam absorbs sound waves, helping reduce noise transmission between rooms and from outside sources, making it ideal for creating quieter indoor environments.

Durability and longevity

Unlike traditional insulation, spray foam doesn’t sag, settle or degrade over time. It provides long-lasting performance with little to no maintenance required.

Pest deterrent

Spray foam creates a seamless barrier that discourages insects and rodents from entering by eliminating cracks and gaps in your building envelope.

Improved indoor air quality

When properly installed, dust, pollen, allergens and outdoor pollutants are kept out; and the risk of condensation and mold growth is reduced.

Versatile applications

Spray foam adheres to virtually any surface, such as wood, metal, masonry and more. It’s ideal for:
  • Attics and crawlspaces
  • Walls and ceilings
  • Rim joists, basements, and foundations
  • Metal buildings and commercial roofs
